Oh just the day before surgery aka pre-op!

WOW!

Basically sums that up, what an eventful day to say the least!

7:00 am wake up get read and what not leave around 7:45, my appointment was at 9 am, and Matt has classes down there so that was convient I guess, so my first appointment was with the doctor, which basically just went over the procedure again and again the issues with my feet, the possible thu gs that could happen if it were to not heal right, basically I'm not an idiot, I plan to take care of myself during this heal time, like this is important!

So around 9:45 am I meet with the nurse of the doctor named lovena (lol sounds like a porno name to me), and goes over a sheet of paper basically explaining how to take care of it, what to look for, where to go for problems, and blah. Lag blah, Matt will be here for 10 days, and I've nicknamed him Dr. Sexy, he loves it! LOLOLOL, maybe not so much. I also can't shower for 3-4 days only sponge baths lol, the whole thought just makes me laugh! Whatever, onto the next area!

The "sac", shit I can't remember what it stands for even though I stared at the sign for hours, it's something like surgery admittance center I don't know lol, well they had this timed out to be for. 10:30-1. Well I get up there, have to check in with the receptionist, then check in with whatever administrative sign and the lady doing the vitals. I return to the waiting room to get called to start paperwork, takes forever, meanwhile, there is a elderly gentleman in the room, which is SMALL, grinding his teeth, let me tell you it was LOUD, like I had to leave the room loud, until a lady who I shall name the hall nazi made us return to the waiting room, because in the hall is against fire Marshall rules, frikin ridiculous, it was a good 2 1/2 hours with him grinding his teeth!

The whole process is slow and mostly pointless, no certain person knows what your procedure is, the nurse thought I'd be able to walk and wouldn't need crutches, like really?! The anesthesiologist was just cracking jokes, the girl doing vitals was just blah, the administrative lady, she was just excited I knew my husbands MOS (none military people, it's just his job, in number form), and the guy doing my labs, he was pretty good, since I hate needles!

I then had to go get my crutches, which was quick, I think I'll be ok with it in the end, they weren't to hard to use, needless to say I spent about 6 hours there, and will return back at 7:30 am tomorrow, more than likely to sit around and wait for hours, bite all my nails off, and go into a panic! LOL!

Oh ya, upon exiting the hospital I hit the wrong floor on the elevator and ended up on the same floor as the morgue, my eyes nearly popped outta my head haha!
