Absolutely nothing eventful happened today! I woke up at about noon, laid on the couch and napped, went back to bed and napped, haha!
We are watching blindside right now after eating a delicious dinner that watty cooked, I'll probably end up in bed soon :) my foot has actually been hurting a little today, but nothing major, nothing the pain pills can't handle lol :)
Kind of hard to blog about non existent things lol!

Day after surgery!
LOL, lets hope today that I make a little more sense, see what I mean by not proof reading, because if you read my blog from last night you'd realize I most definitely, was not with it! LOL!
Today, was rather boring, I went to bed at 11 pm last night, watching Frasier and playing solitaire, I must of fallen asleep with my iPad on top of me, because Matt had come in and moved it, to a spot I normally don't place it, he's so sweet.
Matt has been enjoying is leave too, he stayed up playing league of legends and came at bed at 2:30 am, then I woke him up at 4:30 to help me to the bathroom, wow, I am totally out of it at that time, walking in crutches is very difficult! I woke up this morning at 7 am, my ankle was pretty sore, just probably just being in this cast, definitely not use to it being so tight, but I finally fell back asleep, me and Matt woke up at noon, lol, it felt good.
Got up went to the bathroom again lol, then off to the couch, I watched some tv, Matt ran to the commissary, post office to send mags fancy feast package off to my mom lol, then went and got us Maui Mike's, so delish! Then I napped again for a couple hours!
Watty came over, he's cooking for us tonight and tomorrow lol, tonight we are having steak, and tomorrow chicken, both marinated! Super delish!
Rather uneventful day to say the least :)
My pain level has been decent, keeping my leg elevated, mild pain on the top and pain once in awhile on the side, but I can't complain, I've been keeping on top of my meds, lol, I don't want to feel the pain lol!

Day of surgery!
I am annoyed, that I can't post pictures on here from my iPad! Argh!!!
Today was the day of my surgery, and I'm not going to lie I was really calm! We got a call today asking us to come in early, well that's not goi g to really work, but basically wanted us to get there on time, we are both very punctual with appointments so we left here at 6:20, and got there at 7:10, thankfully traffic was really good! They also mentioned when they called they moved up my surgery to number 2, it was kind of a relief, less time sitting there.
We checked in, sat in the waiting room, got called to do vitals and get my stupid gown robe and socks, oh ya the gown was like all broke ass lol, I hate those things, after that I signed papers, stating what I was having done, then me and Matt went to see in the surgery waiting room :) I was called up to go change and use the sterile clothes again. OMG! True story here!!
Last night, I showered shaved my "areas" like all of them (LOL) then before bed, went to use these clothes, read the do's but didn't look at then "don'ts", I mean I would of been screwed either way, well I then looked at the don'ts "DO NOT SHAVE WITHIN 24 HOURS!" omg omg omg, it literally felt like hundreds of fire ants biting me, it itched so bad, it was totally ridiculous!!!!!!! Lesson leanred!!
well I got All gowned up and shit, and as soon as we know it, I'm being called to head up to anesthesia, Matt was still with me thankfully, here is where I started to lose it a little :) I started crying, Matt was doing all he could to keep my spirits up and make me laugh, he was doing pretty good, as well as he could, but I couldn't help but cry, the gys giving me my IV was nice, he was a troll (lol from lower michigan), the lady then came and got me ready to head to the operating room, this is where I had to leave Matthew, I made him give me like 10 kisses at least lol
In the operating room all I remember was sliding over to the operating table, amd I was then out like a light, then I woke up in the recovery room, I guess the doctor said I was emotional, lol, no clue :) I think I was crying a bit when I woke up, I felt a decent amount of pain, so was given pain mess through the IV, I then felt sick lol, but didn't get sick, finally got some ice chips too. My throat was pretty sore! It also seemed as though I forgot how to swallow lol, I chocked like twice haha!
They then wheeled me out to go back to recovery, I finally saw Matt, lol I was smiling at him, although later he mentioned I looked a hot mess LOLOLOL, it totally believe it, we then sat in the room for awhile, I got more pain pills, app,e juice, water, amd graham crackers, yay! I then had to pee, this was interesting! My poor hubby, he was helping me, but with his boots he tends to not check where he's stepping, while I was in the bathroom he was in front if me, and I was holding on to him when he then stepped on mymgoodmfoot thank god for that lol, it was falling backwards but he had a hold of me, poor guy felt terrible for doing that!
Well we are about to leave, Matt dresses me (he's so cute), so he then left to drive the car, and the nurse brought me down, again, we were lucky, traffic wasn't bad at all! Took about an hour, Matt stopped and got me an Icee :) and graham crackers, got me in the house wherever I have been on the couch. I've been pretty comfortable, except my leg is sore, like just sore muscles, I think it hurts more than my actual foot, I keep trying to stretch it, hoormitneases up :) 1 1/2 hours until I can take more pain medication :)
I will be posting pictures soon, Matt took some of me today :) lol

A small P.S.
I do not proof read, and I don't care, because usually when I do, I still miss the errors, chalk it up to bad grammar
Oh just the day before surgery aka pre-op!
WOW!
Basically sums that up, what an eventful day to say the least!
7:00 am wake up get read and what not leave around 7:45, my appointment was at 9 am, and Matt has classes down there so that was convient I guess, so my first appointment was with the doctor, which basically just went over the procedure again and again the issues with my feet, the possible thu gs that could happen if it were to not heal right, basically I'm not an idiot, I plan to take care of myself during this heal time, like this is important!
So around 9:45 am I meet with the nurse of the doctor named lovena (lol sounds like a porno name to me), and goes over a sheet of paper basically explaining how to take care of it, what to look for, where to go for problems, and blah. Lag blah, Matt will be here for 10 days, and I've nicknamed him Dr. Sexy, he loves it! LOLOLOL, maybe not so much. I also can't shower for 3-4 days only sponge baths lol, the whole thought just makes me laugh! Whatever, onto the next area!
The "sac", shit I can't remember what it stands for even though I stared at the sign for hours, it's something like surgery admittance center I don't know lol, well they had this timed out to be for. 10:30-1. Well I get up there, have to check in with the receptionist, then check in with whatever administrative sign and the lady doing the vitals. I return to the waiting room to get called to start paperwork, takes forever, meanwhile, there is a elderly gentleman in the room, which is SMALL, grinding his teeth, let me tell you it was LOUD, like I had to leave the room loud, until a lady who I shall name the hall nazi made us return to the waiting room, because in the hall is against fire Marshall rules, frikin ridiculous, it was a good 2 1/2 hours with him grinding his teeth!
The whole process is slow and mostly pointless, no certain person knows what your procedure is, the nurse thought I'd be able to walk and wouldn't need crutches, like really?! The anesthesiologist was just cracking jokes, the girl doing vitals was just blah, the administrative lady, she was just excited I knew my husbands MOS (none military people, it's just his job, in number form), and the guy doing my labs, he was pretty good, since I hate needles!
I then had to go get my crutches, which was quick, I think I'll be ok with it in the end, they weren't to hard to use, needless to say I spent about 6 hours there, and will return back at 7:30 am tomorrow, more than likely to sit around and wait for hours, bite all my nails off, and go into a panic! LOL!
Oh ya, upon exiting the hospital I hit the wrong floor on the elevator and ended up on the same floor as the morgue, my eyes nearly popped outta my head haha!

Stressed!
I'm going to attemp to keep this blog with the process of my foot surgery, since I'll definitely have plenty of time on my hands, and it'll be good to look back on! Here's a little backround on this issue:
Basically ever since I could remember I've had wide awkward feet, and they've always given me some trouble but nothing like it has the past two years, I started running, a lot, which also includes hiking since moving to Hawaii (I'm how selfish not to get out there and see the beauty), well with all of this it's put more pressure on my feet, and literally after all that time and not seeing much of any progress in my ability!
After running the Honolulu marathon, things got worse. Upon getting checked out and x-rays, he had explained what the problem was, lapidus bunionectomy), and possible solution, unfortunately that isn't guaranteed to work, but let's hope it does! My surgery is, shit, I don't even know! The awesome hospital of tripler army medical has never given me much of an answer, it was so last minute that it was going to happen this week, that in all that commotion, I never actually got all the information, heres how it went:
1. I call to check on my surgery date progress, the nurse had nothing yet in the computer, 1 hour later I get a call, oh we had a cancellation for Thursday. I said ok let me talk to my husband and ca L back.
2. I call back, of course not wmthe same lady, I did not even know her name (again super flustered) talk to a guy, my original thought was I'd have PreOp and surgery the same day, since the first lady didn't tell me different.
3. He says my appointment and still thinking it was for Thursday and maybe surgery Friday, but no, Matt gets a call tonight while he wasnt home saying my appointment is tomorrow! WTF!
To many emotions are flying through my head, I'm very scared, very nervous! I will be off the foot for 6-8 weeks which all include crutches, and then NO running for 6 months :( did I mention I need to get both feet done!! Hoping after about 8 weeks I can get the second done, which adds another 6-8 weeks and another 6 months, this puts me out of activity for awhile, not being about to run and hike is devastating me! This is something that I hope will heal well and make my feet not hurt so bad!
Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!
