Oops!

It's been a few days since I blogged, it's been a good week!

Monday, took Matt to work, and went to chilis for lunch with Amy and Alison, then went to pick up Matt...

Tuesday, went to the beach with Jana, totally got sunburnt !!! Paying for that one still! My face is peeling, it pretty much hurts!

Wednesday, me and Matt had a great night, he cooked us dinner then took me up to north shore, the sunset wasn't visible though, stupid clouds, but it was still worth it, we got some shaved rice, and sat in the car at the beach, very peaceful!

Thursday, we went to see the avengers it was like 2 1/2 yrs. since we've been to the theater, it was a pretty good movie, not what I would of picked to see, lol, I would of gone w "what to expect when your expecting" :) anyway it was still fun, Matt got a sbux and I got a jamba, then we sat around and finally went in for the movie, of course got popcorn and a coke lol

Friday, went to the beach with Michelle and Melissa, it was a good time, put some sunscreen on this time lol

Then today did nothing, basically laid in bed, did some laundry and cleaned up a bit, and took a shower, tomorrow Matt has a half marathon downtown, so we will be up extra early for that :-/ lol like 4 am early :-/

Well, I'm still a bit mush brained, not feeling up to doing much! These crutches hurt like crazy! I need padding, they kill my hands and armpit areas!

Tomorrow I'm actually going to take Matt to work and meet a couple girls for a late lunch at chilis (aka margaritas) lol, and then Tuesday suppose to go to the beach, still not sure about that:-/ we will see though, I probably shouldn't bail on ppl, they are going to stop asking me to hang out!

My foot has been feeling a lot better, and I only mildly had a freak out last night, couldn't breath and wanted the cast off, but I worked through it, it was really hard, omg, never felt like that before! Only 2 1/2 more weeks until I HOPEFULLY, fingers crossed, a walking cast, I've taken good care so far, so I don't see why I wouldn't, if I don't I may cry, I have so been able to wiggle my big toe some, and the rest of course wiggle fine, except my second toe is still kinda stiff, no need over do it though!

Damn, I can't wait until I can walk! Frick you señor crutches! (edited the eff word, my mon reads this) omg, Tammy does have a filter and manners! Who would of thunk!!!

My adorable niece and a pitbull, ahh watch out she might get eaten, doubtful, they are very calm if raised correct!

Ugh

I'm getting cabin fever, like sleeping far to long, like 12+ hours a night, it's no good, and I'm always tired! It's annoying, but I haven't much else to do, so sleeping seems ok to me!

I miss running, working out, hiking, shit WALKING!! I wanted this surgery so I shouldn't complain, but not getting it, would give me an increased chance of arthritis in my feet, so it makes sense, I'm just finding it hard, and it being half way through, hopefully I've been doing everything right, and will get my walking cast in 3 weeks!

That's the longest I can be out without my foot throbbing from not being elevated, it's rather frustrating! I also need a cast cover, I'd love to go to the beach, like LOVE! So I need to find one, maybe a pharmacy store...

Tonight, I did something I never thought i would do, went to an AA meeting, it was actually really good, kinda gotta suck it up and go for it, I don't have a full out problem, but Matt does, I went to support him and it also opened my eyes to a possibility i have slight problems, and me and Matt together kinda fed off each other, now we just need to keep doing what we are doing and be supportive for each other, not I say I'll never drink again, but I need to think of drinking in a different way, the issue runs in my dads side, and my dad (whom I have no contact with) is an alcoholic, I don not ever want to be like him. So attending classes once awhile will help! Hearing people's stories helps too!

My foot is getting better, I'm really taking it day by day, and try not to rush things, and be patient, I can slightly move my toe but not over doing it, hopefully 3 weeks and I get a walking cast!!!

I also got some flowers from matt today :) they are pretty :) and he grilled me chicken and steak :)! Yummy!!
